Thanks for participating in our Medical Weight Loss Program!
We're happy to support you in your weight loss journey. Please see program details and medication protocols below.
It is required to complete the following while participating in any of the RWL Medical Weight Loss Programs.
-
Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate closely to make sure it's within normal limits for your body.
-
Drink plenty of water throughout the day. This is extremely important to support your heart, flush toxins, and facilitate weight loss. If you can drink water with lemon that will help alkalize your body and support additional weight loss.
-
Listen to your body. If you experience side effects then stop taking the medication for a couple of days.
Initial Trial
-
Take the phentermine 30 minutes before lunch. If you have trouble sleeping at night, take the phentermine 1 hour before lunch.
-
We require a face to face initial consult once per year to participate in the RWL Medical Weight Loss Programs.
-
To continue with the program you may purchase follow up programs under the Follow up Programs/Refills page.
PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS: Detailed instructions for how to proceed with your program can be found below.
Follow up programs
-
Complete monthly follow up forms prior to picking up refills for 2, 3, and 6 month program plans (Monthly Follow Up Form)
-
We require 3 month check-ins while participating in the follow up programs.
-
The check-ins are covered under your follow up program as long as you are active in our program.
-
To remain active means you are participating in consistent and consecutive programs with no more than a 60 day lapse from the last successful payment.
-
-
Refills are setup for the 2 mo, 3 mo, and first half of the 6 mo programs.
-
The only thing from RWL that will impact your scripts is a failed payment, not completing the 3 month check-in or follow up form in a timely manner.
-
-
If you have issues picking up your scripts, please ask to speak directly with the pharmacist and/or show them your current script bottles with refills noted. Inform the pharmacist your scripts were sent in via ePrescribe.

Our bodies don’t do anything stupid, they only adapt
-
Ph homeostasis (acid – base balance)
-
Bodies need to maintain homeostasis
-
Steal minerals from bones and organs
-
We Eat very acidic food – processed/fast food, carbohydrates, sugar
-
Need to eat more alkaline to optimize bodily function
-
-
Fat cells store acid: protective measure
-
Until body becomes more alkaline fat cells will not release acid and will remain swollen
-
Explains why some people (no matter what they eat or how they exercise) won’t lose weight
-
-
Alkaline eating
-
Fresh food, colored food, outside of store, get protein from other sources
-
Meat, cheese, carbs, sugar = all very acidic
-
Eat almonds, lemons, spinach, green, fresh food.
-
-
See our website for further information on a diet plan
The FACTS (continued)
-
Leptin hormone
-
Leptin is a hormone released by fat cells
-
Tells our brains we are full and to stop eating
-
We have plenty of leptin
-
The problem is leptin receptor resistance
-
-
Leptin receptor resistance
-
How to make our receptors more resistant
-
Eat whole grain, organic oatmeal
-
Lose weight!! Best way!
-
-
-
Receptor increased sensitivity is Directly proportional to weight loss.
-
Feed our brains not just our body: mindfully eat
-
Feed our senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, feel
-
Eat different colored, textured, flavored and smelling food.
-
Notice what different textures, flavors, smells, colors and taste your food has.
-
What to do when…
1) Goal weight has been reached:
Taper off medications or start maintenance program
Wellbutrin 1 po bid + Prozac 10 mg 1 daily
2) Credit card is going to expire:
update PayPal subscription or submit a contact us form www.realweightloss.solutions
3) Pharmacy does not have medications: talk DIRECTLY to a pharmacist. They likely have the refills
4) Need to re-order: go to www.realweightloss.solutions under “Follow Up Programs”
scroll down to choose program
Need to complete programs within 1 year of initial intake otherwise another intake is required
We require 3mo checkins while participating in our program
5) Only want some of the medications in program: purchase only what you want from pharmacy
6) I am sick and need to take Sudafed - stop real weight loss meds, no need to take when sick. No taper necessary
7) Already on antidepressants:
don’t pick up Prozac or talk to provider about his/her recommendation
8) Not losing weight:
most likely your metabolism – change what, when & how you are eating/exercising.
Include vitamins, different types of food/exercise, cut out caffeine/smoking.
Keep your body guessing! Plateaus are unavoidable – push through
9) Think the Medication is not working:
if appetite is suppressed – medication is working!
To test – just stop taking for a couple of days.
10) Medication working but not losing weight:
cut caffeine and nicotine – both increase excretion of medication = less effective
Medication will still be helpful as you change and make your body adapt to a new normal
it will keep you “in bounds” as you make necessary dietary changes
11) Having side effects (other than the primary ones listed previously):
Note when they started. What aggravates or alleviates them. Start one medication at a time. Does the benefit outweigh the discomfort/risk of the side effect? If no – stop the medication. Follow up with PCP for hormone panel and evaluation. DON’T GIVE UP – JUST CHANGE IT UP
